Last updated: March 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CodeViolations platform operated by ManageVendors, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") at getcodeviolations.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

CodeViolations provides access to publicly available code enforcement and building violation records aggregated from city and county government databases across the United States. The Service is designed for contractors, home service professionals, and businesses seeking to identify properties with active code violations.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscription and Payments

The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Prices are displayed on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We offer a free trial period. No payment information is required during the trial.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may NOT:

  • Use the data for harassment, stalking, or intimidation of property owners
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data to third parties
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the Service
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations

5. Data Accuracy

The violation data provided through the Service is sourced from public government databases. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees that the data is complete, current, or error-free. Government databases may contain outdated information, and violations may be resolved before appearing in our system. You should independently verify any information before taking action.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and features, is owned by ManageVendors, Inc. The violation data itself is derived from public records and is not proprietary. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the data for your business purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Castle County, Delaware.
